Melt In Your Mouth Chocolate Chip Cookies

Preparation Instructions:Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix butter flavored crisco, brown sugar, vanilla and eggs in a large bowl, using a mixer. Stir in baking mix and chocolate chips. If dough appears to dry, add a little water one table spoon at a time.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray.
Bake about 11 minutes or until golden brown.
Transfer from cookie sheet to a wire rack.
Store in airtight container after completely cooled.
Comments from LaDonna: Jim is not a cookie eater, he likes his cookies soft. He LOVES these cookies. They melt in your mouth. Also, for a nice twist, instead of the mini chocolate chips, add a package of the peanut butter, chocolate chip mixture that has just come out. Or add a cup or two of the skor toffee chips.
