Chocolate Raisin Nut Clusters
|
Preparation Instructions:1. In top of double boiler, melt chocolate over hot, not boiling, water.
2. Coarsely chop nuts or almonds or just break them into pieces.
3. Remove chocolate from heat. Add raisins and nuts or almonds. Stir to coat well.
4. With a teaspoon, drop mixture onto lightly greased baking sheet, mounding mixture to form clusters.
5. Let clusters harden in a cool place. Do not put them in the refrigerator.
Tip: You may use other fruit like dates or prunes to mix with nuts. Chopped dried pears, apricots, peaches, or figs make a good variation too.
