Ginger Beef Casserole

AmountIngredient
1 poundbeef meat, sliced
4green onions, cut into 2" lengths
1 tablespoonginger, shredded
1/2 teaspoonminced garlicr
4 ounceswater chestnuts, sliced
1/4 cuponion, shredded
Sauce:
1/4 teaspoonsalt
2 tablespoonsoyster sauce
1 teaspoonsugar
1/4 teaspoongourmet powder (M.S.G.)
1 tablespoondark soy sauce
a few dropssesame seed oil
1/3 cupwater
1 1/2 tablespoonsWonder Powder (very fine white tapioca powder)
1 tablespoonChinese cooking wine

Preparation Tips:

Marinate beef with 1 teaspoon Wonder Powder, 2 tablespoons light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon cooking wine and drops of sesame oil.
Heat wok, brown green onions, garlic, onion, and ginger.
Add beef and saute until meat changes color.
Add sauce and bring to a boil.
Transfer to a heat-proof casserole.
Heat casserole until sauce comes to a boil.
Serve from the casserole while sauce is still bubbling.
