Greek Easter Cookies

AmountIngredient
1 cupmargarine or butter, softened
1/3 cupgranulated sugar
2egg yolks
1 teaspoonvanilla
1/2 teaspoonbrandy flavoring, if desired
2 cupsall-purpose flour
1 teaspoonbaking powder
1 teaspoonground cloves
 Powdered sugar

Preparation Instructions:

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix margarine, granulated sugar, egg yolks, vanilla and brandy flavoring. Stir in flour, baking powder and cloves. Shape dough into 3/4 inch balls or 2 inch long crescents. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until set but not brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet. Cool completely; roll in powdered sugar. About 6 1/2 dozen.
