    1 bottle (750 ml) medium-sweet white wine

  1 bottle (750 ml) medium-sweet red wine

  3 ounces/75 grams granulated sugar

  1 inch/2.5 cm cinnamon stick

  1 bay leaf

  1 blade of mace

  6 cloves

  1 small orange

  2 tablespoons rum
