Fish with Mushroom Sauce

    1 1/4 pounds fish fillets, sole, ocean perch or other lean fish

  3 tablespoons butter or margarine

  2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed

  1/4 pound (4 ounces) fresh mushrooms

  2 tomatoes

  1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves

  Salt, to taste

  Pepper, to taste

  1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
