  2 eggs

  1 cup milk or half-and-half

  all-purpose flour

  salt

  1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

  1/2 cup diced cooked ham

  chopped parsley

  1 red, green, or yellow bell pepper

  fresh herbs, optional
