Favorite Chili

    2 (16 ounces each) cans pinto or kidney beans

  2 (14 1/2 ounces each) cans tomatoes

  2 pounds coarsely ground chuck, browned and drained

  1 medium onion, coarsely chopped

  1 green pepper, coarsely chopped

  2 cloves garlic, crushed

  2 to3 tablespoons chili powder

  1 teaspoon pepper

  1 teaspoon cumin

  Salt to taste
