  2 tablespoons chopped nuts

  3 eggs

  1 cup sugar

  1/2 teaspoon salt

  2 tablespoons butter

  1/2 cup dark corn syrup

  1/2 cup whipping cream

  1 teaspoon vanilla

  1/4 cup brandy

  1 cup pecan halves
