Lamb in Wine with Mushrooms

    2 (4 ounce) cans mushroom caps

  1/4 cup oil

  2 1/2 pounds lamb, cut into cubes

  2 (10 ounce) cans mushroom soup

  1/2 cup onion

  1 cup white wine

  1/2 teaspoon oregano

  Salt, to taste

  Pepper, to taste

  1 cup sour cream
