4. Easy, Handy Kitchen Tips

Creative Cooking with Leftovers:

A couple of tablespoons of wine, added to a stew or a casserole, will add new flavor. And remember that when you cook with wine, the alcohol evaporates, leaving just the wonderful aroma you are searching for. But never use leftover wines that have already become sour or too acid. These wines don't add a pleasant taste to a dish. If you do have some leftover wines, however, after a meal you may freeze small amounts in the ice cube tray. Use a cube or two to add extra fine flavor when needed.
